It is a light prism made of glass in the shape of an equilateral triangular prism. Equilateral triangle surfaces are 25 mm, length is 75 mm and are matte, other surfaces are polished. It is among the materials used in experiments conducted for the science, education and training of light and optics in school physics and science laboratories.
White light is separated into colors with the help of a light prism, creating the visible light spectrum. Red light has the longest wavelength and lowest frequency, while violet light has the shortest wavelength and highest frequency. Visible light; wavelengths of approximately 400-700 nm with frequencies in the range of approximately 10-25 Hz.
